Location near fort de kock and jam gadang. Room have balcony and spacious Breakfast good

Poor internet connection Room not to clean Party in the pool below our room until 23.30 with very loud sound. We do spoke to the hotel to lower the sound they do it but still to loud for people to sleep. Better make soundproof in the room near pool.

There's a good view from many areas, including the rooms and the hotel is very well located, near attractions. The staff were nice and helpful in everyway.

The hotel is dated and needs a little TLC in almost every hospitable area.

The bed had no padding and uou could feel the springs. Loud neighbors after 10.30 pm and little sound proofing, you could hear everything. Only outlet was across the room, none by the bed to plug in electronics.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was good too.

Problems with airconditioning that was handled badly by the team and management. Lots of excuses and even lies.

Some staff were good, some not good at all. Cleaning was not good at all. In 5 days they did not clean the tables in our room. In the pool area, we had to ask the staff to clean the tables every day, and the staff were NOT busy at all. Unacceptable!

The fish and chips were tasty.

Room smelled like the sewer. Sheets were not replaced from the previous guests. We were able to smell the perfume on the sheets.

The housekeeping cleaned the room really clean and neat

The location is very strategic, within walking distance to Jam Gadang, market, and Family restaurant. There are quite a lot of cafes next door and across the hotel. The view from my room is very beautiful in the morning, what with the morning fog and cold temperature.

The breakfast buffet is so-so in flavor. Nothing that make me say "delicious". Need to pay if you bring kids over 5 years old. The baggage service is very slow. I called, waited for several minutes, then came down to check out at the receptionist. After I finished checking out, the baggage trolley still hasn't arrived at my room.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the cool, fresh air of Bukittinggi. Staff were prompt in addressing the various problems when asked. The location is quiet except during sermons from the numerous mosques.

There were several inconveniences such as the room key not working, the wi-fi not working and the hand shower grip being broken. Compared to four-star hotels I have stayed in in other provincial towns in Indonesia, this one was expensive (at the price I paid), provided a lower quality breakfast and maintained an atmosphere more oriented to Muslim Indonesians than to international travellers.

The location was very nice.

The hotel is old. Almost no power sockets. And the ones that are there are located inconveniently and barely work. Babybed requires quite a hefty extra cost. Breakfast was not really suited for Europeans. Pool was cold.

I book 3 rooms in this hotel while hoping I’ll get the 4star hotel services here. The service here was very horrible starting with the receptionist in charge! I’m travelling with my family with kids and toddler and it was very tiring journey for us at that time travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Padang and then to Bukittinggi..and when we reached the hotel, all of us hoping to finally get settled in our room. Booking.com mention that the hotel accepts credit card, so instead bringing a lot of cash, I prefer paying using card.. the receptionist rudely said that my card had been declined..all my credit card and even my debit card and asking me to withdraw cash from the atm machine nearby the hotel. I call my bank and they clearly said that no attempt charges had been made from the hotel and that all my cards can be used internationally..Imagine my frustration during that time, with my baby crying out of tiredness! I booked the hotel without breakfast..and then on our 2nd night we received breakfast voucher—someone slipped the voucher under our door during midnight.. and in the morning, we went to get our ‘complimentary’ breakfast..we’re being seated by the waitress and then a minute later, another waiter come to our table and asked us to leave the restaurant and told us the voucher were mistakenly been giving to us..apparently they wrongly given out the voucher with our rooms number on it! Seriously!! I don’t mind if we need to pay for the breakfast, but the way they’re treated us that morning make me feel regret booking the hotel in the first place! They don’t provide iron in the room and we asked the laundry service to come to our room for clothes pressed..guest what..they never came.. I’m so glad when we leave the hotel during check out.. i never write a long review before..but this hotel’s bad service really need to be detailed out! I really love travelling to indonesia due to the services that’s been provided by the hotels..

Good swimming pool and good breakfast (amazing omelette).

Carpet in our room was not vacuumed. There was even an old slipper underneath the coffee table. The shower could also use some good cleaning, they need to scrub it and use some desinfection. But it did not surprise me - this is common in Indonesia.
